Ch. Purston Foxxfyre Aristocrat wins BISS at Central States May 12,2007!!

Welcome to FoxxRun Wire Fox Terriers, home of Ch. Purston Foxxfyre Aristocrat. Aristocrat is the 2006 National Specialty Show Breed Winner at the famed Montgomery County show. He also won the Breed at the 2006 AKC/Eukanuba Invitational Championship Show in Long Beach, CA. So far in 2007, Aristocrat has won multiple Terrier Groups and is proving to be an exceptional show dog and a superior sire.

At FoxxRun Wires we are constantly striving for excellence in type and temperament, attempting to return to the original standard set down by The Fox Terrier Club in Great Britain, over a hundred years ago.

A few years ago FoxxRun Wires joined forces with Foxfyre Wires of Ft Worth, TX owned byMary Morris-Collings, in our quest for excellence in type, temperament, health and soundness.

We are looking forward to the day when our two kennel names will be synonymous with the words, "Wires bred to the Standard set down by those who have gone before us." Mary's husband, Mr. Michael J. Collings, Purston Terriers, who has had many many champions, not only in wires, but in Welsh and Westies is originally from Great Britain. Through Michael, we were introduced to, and became very good friends with Mr. Mervyn Thompson, World Reknown Wire Fox Terrier Breeder and Owner of the Burren Kennel in Northern Ireland. Mr Thompson has been gracious enough to allow us to import some of his wires to the US. We hope to build upon these imports, in an effort to meet that standard of excellence.

We are not a large kennel, our wires are all hand raised, loved and socialized in our homes. We do not breed a litter often and when we do, it is to improve our pedigree lines and to keep a good show prospect. We will at times have puppies availble to go to family pet homes. We give special attention to finding the perfect qualified home for our puppies, and make every effort to see that they are going to that "forever home" that they all so deserve.
